World Students Day, celebrated on October 15th, honors the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, an esteemed Indian aerospace scientist and former President of India. Neoriya Baank and Alaudipur Community Center commemorated this day, inspiring students with Dr. Kalam’s life and dedication to education. The United Nations designated this day in his honor in 2010, recognizing his influence on millions through his achievements, books, and lectures.
Regarding scholarships, a total of 27 students from Bisainda, Neoriya Baank, and Alaudipur VDPs received scholarships for the 2022-23 academic year, totaling INR 128,340. The efforts to fill scholarship forms and raise awareness about the scheme will continue.
Furthermore, nine students from Bisainda Community Center achieved distinction in sports competitions held at Govt Middle School in Bisainda, competing against students from 12 villages. Their success showcases the positive impact of community centers in nurturing young talent.
