Lucknow – Visiting a zoo

On February 11, 2024, Vital India orchestrated an excursion to Lucknow for 58 students from all community centers. Accompanied by the Vital India team, the children visited the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, aiming to expand their horizons, nurture curiosity, and instill respect for wildlife and nature. For many of these children, it marked their initial experience of visiting a zoo and witnessing wild animals up close. The children were enthralled by the diverse array of wild animals and their educational insights. Additionally, they explored the aquarium, nature interpretation center, children’s park, historical baradari, and other attractions. After hours of exploration, the children gathered in the Baradari to relish a delectable meal specially prepared for them.
